Like sunshine in the morning that wakens day from night,

A person bright and lovely is my mother dear.

Happy Mother's Day Mom! I sure missed having you around when I became a mother but I guess Heavenly Father needed you more. Sure missed out on those mom and daughter moments.

You have always been a teacher and have always loved us every day of our lives.  I'm so glad that you were born that we could have the opportunity to be with you.  You have been a strong, diligent and determined woman that inspires us to be better.

We’ve now known each other for over 34 years.  When you say this it seems like a long time, but it seems like it wasn’t that long ago that we first met.  How grateful I am that we did meet and marry.  To be honest, I cannot imagine life without you, nor would I want to.  You really do mean the world to me.  To hear you laugh, to see you smile, or to just know that you are happy brings joy to my heart.  My hope is to someday reach the point that I’m the kind of husband I should be.  The kind of husband that you can be proud of and glad you have.
